INFORMATION PURSUANT TO ART. 13 OF ITALIAN LEGISLATIVE DECREE 196/2003:
Pursuant to Art. 13 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003, we inform you that Argos S.p.A., in its role of Data Controller, is required to provide to the party concerned specific information concerning the purposes and methods of processing personal data.
SOURCE OF PERSONAL DATA:
Personal data obtained directly or from another source within the company’s field of business are processed in compliance of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 and the usual confidentiality obligations.
PURPOSES AND METHODS OF PROCESSING:
The personal data supplied by the party concerned will be processed electronically and manually by Argos S.p.A. for the following purposes:
requirements before drawing up of contracts for the supply of goods
to fulfil the obligations and requirements (administrative, tax, accounting, etc.) provided by the legislation in force
as regards the data relating to the carrying on of economic activities, for the purpose of providing commercial information or sending advertising material, also by using e-mail or interactive commercial communication; marketing and advertising; promotional activities; surveying the level of customer satisfaction
management of the technical support service relating to the materials marketed
for all other operational and management requirements
Argos S.p.A. may use trusted third parties that carry out technical or organisational tasks such as, for example: the supply of printing, envelope stuffing, transmission, shipping and sorting of communications services. The processing is done manually or using electronic, or in any case automated, tools, according to a logic strictly related to the purposes and in any case in such a way as to guarantee the confidentiality and security of personal data. Supplying personal data is not compulsory, except in cases envisaged by current law, but refusal to supply them may make it impossible to establish the relationship and execute the contracts.

parties to whom the right of data access is granted by legal or regulatory provisions
banks for the management of receipts and payments; financial, insurance and auditing companies
external parties who perform functions related to the execution of the contract (transport companies, shipping companies, etc.)
data processing centres and IT services
employees or external service companies
marketing survey companies
RIGHTS PURSUANT TO ART. 7 OF ITALIAN LEGISLATIVE DECREE 196/2003:
Art. 7 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 grants the parties involved the exercise of specific rights.
The interested party has the right to receive confirmation of the existence or not of personal data concerning himself/herself, even if not yet registered, and their intelligible communication.
The party has the right to receive information about:
the source of the personal data;
the purposes and procedures of the processing;
the rules applied in case of the processing of data with the aid of electronic devices;
the identification details of the data controller, the managers and the appointed representatives pursuant to Art. 5, paragraph 2;
the parties and subject categories to whom personal data can be communicated or who can have access to this information due to their role of representative in the State’s territory, of managers or of appointed people.
The party has to right to obtain:
the update, correction or, if it is the case, the supplement of data;
the deletion, the change into anonymous format or the blockage of data if processing in violation of the law, including data which is not required to be preserved for the purposes for which the data were collected or afterwards processed;
the confirmation that the actions as above stated have been notified, also with respect to their content, to the people to whom the data has been transmitted or disclosed, except in the case when this is impossible or entails the use of clearly disproportionate means in comparison to the right protected.
The party has the right to fully or partly object to:
the processing of data concerning him/her for legitimate reasons, even if relevant to the data collection purpose;
the processing of personal data relating to him/her with the aim to send advertising material or make a direct sale, or with the aim to carry out market research studies or make commercial announcements.
The referenced rights can be exercised, also through a designated person, by submitting a request to the person responsible for data processing of Argos S.p.A. by registered letter sent to Argos S.p.a., Viale delle Industrie 20 – 20040 – Cambiago (MI), Italy or sent via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org To exercise the rights, the concerned party may assign or delegate, in writing, other individuals, organisations, associations or organisms. The interested party may also be assisted by a person of trust.
