The principle of innovation.
Argos S.p.A. started its activity for the treatment of surfaces with chemical nickel-plating in 1969, when it acquired the manufacturing licence of the KANIGEN procedure from General American Transportation Co. in Chicago and proposed an advanced technology which was practically unknown in Italy at that time.

Even if the principle of chemical nickel-plating was discovered in 1844, it was only applied in 1950, when a reliable industrial method known as KANIGEN was developed.

At the end of the seventies, the researchers of the Argos Group, a leading company for the advanced treatment of surfaces, carried out studies and tests in order to improve and define an innovative chemical nickel-plating system characterized by a very high quality standard: the NIPLOY PROCESS.
