After the extraordinary conquest of the NIPLOY PROCESS, a very resistant and hard nickel-plating characterized by a uniform coating, Argos developed CHENISIL and CHENIFLON: the former has the same basic properties but is more resistant to corrosion and slipping wear whereas the latter has the same properties as NIPLOY but its teflon particles (PTFE) help to produce a self-lubricating, smooth and anti-adhesive surface.
